I searched around a bit, but was unable to find any loot listings for eve.
I know that the faction starbase BPO are from exploration sites, but where does the capital ship BPOs come from? Are they from invention and such? Or from some sort of ratting?

Ty in advance

Capital ship BPOs are bought from NPC vendors, on the market. They're sold by the faction navies, so a Thanatos BPO can be bought at Federation Navy stations, etc. Capital ship component BPOs, same thing.

There are no faction starbase BPOs, what drops from exploration sites are the BPCs (copies) for the faction POS and POS structures.

EFA. These do not drop any more and there is no source of supply for them ingame.

Actually this was fixed with odyssey when they redid all the data and relic sites

Yep. Capital ship BPOs are very, very expensive. IIRC a Titan BPO is 67 billion ISK from an NPC - then add months of research to get it to ME 1 or ME 2.

You see, when a Mommy BPO and a Daddy BPO love each other very much.....

From the Odyssey patch notes ( http://community.eveonline.com/news/patch-notes/patch-notes-for )
Quote:
Containers in both Data and Relic sites can now drop BPCs for pirate faction POS towers and POS modules
