I would like to propose a simple change to the Loyalty Point system.

As we fly around, especially as noobs and we do missions here and there we build up a glut of rather pointless loyalty points for NPC corps that we will never do missions for again, it would be nice to get rid of those LP that currently are worhtless in terms of there are not enough of them to buy anything, and we could do that in several ways.

1. Plain old trash the LP, lose them and receive nothing back.

2. Offer something in the Loyalty Store for 1 LP, that would allow me to get rid of the odds and sods I have lying around. doesnt have to me worth much 1 tritanium, 1 round of ammo, anything but let me get rid of these LP i dont need.

3. The LP have an expiry date on them, combined with #1 so you can delete them if you wish, LP should have an expiry of say 12 or 18 months so they will naturally remove themselves (albeit over quite a period of time)

I was considering that as one of my options but thought that that system would be abused. Besides Loyalty Points by their definition are awarded to an individual so that individual should have the option to get rid of them, although I have just thought of another option which ill update the main thread with if i can

(Before someone mentions it, with CONCORD LP there is situation of the kind "friend of CONCORD is my friend too")

@OP: Expiration is bad idea. Thrashing, well, it does not break anything. Sometimes I was thinking about more or less free conversion between different corps, maybe adjusted by their mutual standing but always at significant loss, but being honest, apart from just being there, those unneeded LPs don't hurt in any way.

I was't really following most of what you said in your post, perhaps its a private thing between you and Aliventi, but re the LP not hurting by being there, indeed, no they don't but it would be nice to just have the option to delete, to remove the stuff that you know you are never going to work towards increasing, Just the the flashing light on the comet that was being thrown around for being reintroduced, it doesnt actually really serve a purpose but it would be a nice to have (for some people anyway)

What about a 50% conversion to CONCORD LP?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

As to you proposal, it can be summarised in two points:
- Such option would be nice to have.
- Lack of such option is no problem at all.

Or something like

transfer LP to a LP store that has stuff you want, so you would pile up collected LP to one big heap and get a Navy Raven or whatever.
