Think you can add engine flares to show if the ship were moving?
Under the settings tab, you can have it display "Engine Speed" bar like your ship spin speed thing. Between 0 to 10km. I know the engine flare can still grow larger even if the ship is at it's max impulse speed (AKA Warp speed and MWD/Afterburners)

Also, what's with the 2 creator groups? CCP is the only one to have created ships for the game, right? So what's with CCPC - CaldariPrimePonyClub? I understand not working and test.

Holy F****, this is awesome!!! I always regret that I have to play eve on low-def cause I multibox and cannot be asked to turn it back up when I dont. This means I never have to ever again/

They are finished, you are seeing them in the spinner.

Engines were turned off, but they'll be back. Engine trails we've not looked at yet - but they ships aren't actually moving yet so not sure what will happen there.

It tells you who has made the setup file for the ship, or designed it's look. Everything made by CPPC exists in the client files but hasn't yet been made by CCP. Everything made by "test" or "T'amber" doesn't exist in the client files. There will be a filter added that allows you to toggle real and madeup ships. This dropdown also needs to be there for when you can create and share your own veneer designs.

Good idea, will pass on to Niraia, but we're going to be allowing you to save a scene at some point when we release all the other controls so it might be apart of that.

Their version, doesn't show all space ships. Only certain ones. Like the Abaddon there, if you select Amarr Battleship group, it only shows 1 battleship when there are plenty more than that.

Don't need engine trails, just the engine flares. In my opinion, engine trails look a bit odd and kinda unrealistic. A perfectly circular trail of blue or yellow. :P The flares are nice though.

I had one more idea I just now thought of. Universal lighting in settings. So a ship will be fully lit up from all angles, maybe as if there were 6 to 12 stars in the solar system at all sides (and diagonal sides for 12 stars).

I also like the info eve universe ship page provides. A small button in the corner up by your about question mark could drop down statistics on the ship like CPU, Powergrid, Capacitor, Velocity, all the stats unfit and unskilled (Base values). I'm visualizing a Capacitor icon, as it would show up in game, with a blue number for CPU and a red number for powergrid. Under that, base shield, armor, hull (Light blue number shields, light orange number armor, light red for hull). Velocity, drone bay size, cargohold size, maybe some other stats you can think of such as trivial things like it's mass

So yea. On the Abaddon, it'd be something like this:

My design is fairly crappy. But that's how I imagined it. :P This stuff is though just statistics. Not really necessary in a ship spinner but I thought it might be neat to have once the project is ready and stuff.

For example, the Capacitor compared to real life power, or CPU compared to real life processing power if you find a way. Maybe velocity compared to real life speeds and such. You can definitely find things to compare mass to.

Can't do anything about the lighting yet sadly, I have made a request to ccp regarding how dark everything is.

Yup all these things in good time, we're a little overloaded with RL work atm so it will be a little slow in coming.
I'm going to update each ship with their actual ingame id so this can get started.

Bug: Spinning the ship via camera doesn't show the counter at the bottom. What's the point of spinning at work if I have no way to show it off?

Turned it off because we needed to count camera rotations rather than ship rotations, which there is an automatic control for, and it didn't work so well. :)

Doesn't work yet in the IE11 64 bit developer preview for WIn7.

UI elements are all there and usable. Ship name is displayed. No background and ship though.

Remove standings and insurance.

This is awesome. The CCP version is tucked away under a pile of menu drop downs and it doesn't include the other NPC ships. Which makes this one better :)
