Nah...

Marauder needs a second bonus dedicated to smartbombs:

7.5% radius dmg and capacitor use bonus per Marauder skill level to all smarbombs

No more issues being damp/ecm just because you undock, light smarties and laugh.

mole guy was teasing as to the double mining bonus too.. ;-)

i would completely "dig" a 3 stripper marauder.
4 megapulse II, 3 modular stripper II's, tank, mjd, etc. we could be the guardians of the fleet.

i thought you were kidding about this idea, but i REALLY think its kewl. for those of us with over 100m sp, who do a bit of everything, this ship would TOTALLY round us off. we could mine and fend off the rats, fend off the gankers, protect the rorqual which will soon be forced into the field...
or make a new ship like a domi with strippers. a cross between a rorqual (drone bonus) and a hulk (miner).
doesnt need weapons, we could put them in a triangle right at drone optimal. any attacked would be shredded.

turn the tears back against em.


these would absolutely be used in high sec. there is no need to limit them to anything. typical battleship sensors and whatnot, a small tank bonus, double weapon damage, keep the tank rep bonus, give it an ore hold the size of 1 stripper maxed out +10% just in case...give it a reduction in stripped cpu so we can fit em and CCP wouldnt have to do a damn thing else.. they would RAWK!!!

with marauder 5, max subcap skillz for pvp AND max mining bonuses up to and including rorqual 5, this would compliment my mining fleet BIG time. i really didnt think you were serious nikk, but i love the thought.
i dont mind dropping the bonus on strippers (when compared to exhumers). just running 3 strippers is good enough for me.

the orca and rorqual could actually stay on the field and boost. we could all sit around and smoke nikk weed and kill interlopers.

I'd rather see Marauders become PvP capable, than be able to do both main forms of PvE simultaneously (and at that, one part exceptionally poorly).

we already have that..pirate ships.

give them a kewl role. i mentioned in other posts a role of fleet protector.
riding along with the fleet to protect them. give them jump drives like black ops only carrier range. this way they can protect the fleet.

if not that, then scanning and rr bonuses so we can take them in worm holes and survive.

if not that, this strip miner idea would be a hoot.
i would deffinately spend a few extra bux to buy one. 2 toons in marauders and my booster in the rorqual. marauers would fulfill the role better.. they can slip behind enemy lines and maraud roid fields. anyone step in on them and POP!..
then we could store marauders in the rorqual bay.
or give them a jump drive and strippers and they fly along with the rorqual...=)

i would deffinately have either 2 vargur, 2 golems or one of each with the rorqual. imagine fighting against a vargur when the rorqual has cap ship reppers on em?
