It's unfair that someone can have an impact on the gameplay of so many other people without being active. At least the 0.01 ISK mob have to check their market orders every five minutes. The huge passive income in tears per hour is overpowered!

what can we do against afk stelth pilots in 0.0 ? Nothing !!!
She wait any hours and we cant mining, ratting ore others.... attacks comes only vs mining Barges ore infight Ships and are rar....
CCP we need a tactic against this idiots.... thats not pvp.
AFK waiting for 4 ore more hours is an Exploit.
AFK cloak campers are broken.
Please show me a valid reason why they are balanced or add anything to the game.
Now i'm not talking about cyno roamers or intel periodic.
I'm talking about people with X accounts knowing there is no way to get rid of them and make a living out of this broken part of them game.
CCP I don't know what type of solution your going to make for this.
Or how your able to defend this type of game play but it has been going on long enough.
This simply needs addressing.
The only reason i'm able to think of why this has not been fixed is pure $$.
But your losing at least 7 people including me if this does not get solved.
Am I doing it right or too much?

There are already more than enough threads about AFK cloaking. There is a nice AFK CLOAKING COLLECTION thread in F&I that I think needs to be freakin stickied.

Don't nerf AFK cloaking, nerf your imagination. 9 times out of 10 the threat you imagine is so much worse than the threat you face.


Also, AFK CLOAKING thread# 45,873,998. Give or take the few that have eluded me during my forced "breaks" from the forumsBig smile

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

problem solved

server load decreased

jita local dropped by 1k

catch botters who have automated inputs

the benefits are endless

Cloaking is nice. However I can't go afk during most of it as I am waiting for an exciting bombingrun.

Using it just twice a day, AFK cloaking gave me a richer, fuller head of hair and the calls from women just won't stop!

Serious response to this thread - without AFK cloaking null sec becomes way to safe. The only way you will be able to die is when you choose to engage in PvP.

The reason AFK cloaking is neccessary is that travelling out to deep null is very problematic, one has no stations to dock in, no supplies so its neccessary to take a blockade runner as well.

Once you get there everybody tends to dock up until any threat leaves or forms a gang to hotdrop with some bait. The only way to get around this is to AFK cloak. People cant dock up forever nor can they wait in a gang for a hotdrop for hours or a day.

AFK cloaking allows some form of piracy in sov null. It adds an element of risk and removes the 100% safety that exists.

AFK cloaking should remain, without it the cards are way to in favour of the null carebear.

These people expect and are used to 100% safety in null and AFK cloaking removes such safety and this is why anti cloaking peeps rage so much. They should GTF out of null or deal with it.
