Can you imagine your life without basic online communication ways like eve gate? Me neither! Infact more people used Eve Gate than the rest of the websites on the internet combined during 2011-2012 which means that with the decline of this innovative and useful resource for capsuleers everywhere, literally used on a day to day basis by the most important folks in eve; what will be come of the game?

Today I want to show you how eve gate is falling behind the same way MySpace did back in 08'. They're not keeping up with the trends.

1. Why Can't I hashtag?
CCP, what's to stop me using Facebook to talk to my friends when I can't even #HASHTAG on Eve-Gate. When I want to #YOLO I simply can not. How will my space friends know that my sentiments on a particular reason are that you only live once?

Put in hashtagging before it's too late. Twitter has it, Facebook has it.. If you want to stay as the #1 Social Networking website you will have to implement it.

2. Why can't I tag my friends?
So me and other chill bros are #YOLOing down into lowsec full of swag when all of a sudden stuff starts popping off. Quick as a Flash I start taking screenshots... Great, so I have some epic pics of my boys doing how we do, I've already instagrammed dat joint but why can't I tag them?? How will people know how we do?

3. For that matter why can't I upload pictures?
I know pictures aren't that important on the internet these days, but there are occasions where I'd like to share the instagrams of Bob Marley (my Falcon). Why Bob Marley CCP?? Cos' He's Jammin' and thats how I roll but how will people KNOW unless I can share this onto #1 Social Networking tool Eve Gate?

Time to rename Eve Gate
Call is SPACEBOOK, and thank me later. Plenty of times I've been out at da club and a honey comes up to me and we get talking. I tell her about this one time where I kited a Goon Apoc fleet in my Cynabal and she basically decides she needs to have my numbers... but here's the problem, I'm not sure that I don't have beer goggles on so I give her my EVE GATE so I can check that shes not a hippocrocapig in the morning.. She's like "Wut?".. I'm like "EVE GATE" and then shes like.. "ohh can't I just give you my facebook details instead" and I'm like "IT DOESNT MATTER THEN, YOU'RE FAT".. Basically I could have missed out on meeting my soul mate. Thanks CCP.

I don't want to get into the charts and statistics of it but we all know Eve Gate is in decline and shortly to become irrelevant, soon I envisage that literally no one will ever use it and infact most people won't even remember what it is unless you say something like "Hey, remember eve gate?", They'll be like "LOL yeah, what a laughing stock, whoever designed that should kill themselves ingame".

Unless some changes are made, this day is coming SOON. Mark my words.
