I'm going to drop a bit of a diary in this thread as the Major did, new people posting but please refer to the OP for instructions.

Monday 24th November

I'm off work, I won't go into too much detail but the words pebble dash and porcelain may give you some idea as to why. I recall logging off on Saturday night seeing Kourmonen at 0%, couldn't be sure as I'd had a few drinks but either way I was surprised to see it at 53% when I logged on today. Right, the Amarr want to push then eh? Ok then.

The next 6 hours are hugely entertaining, we've a small skirmish gang always floating at about 4-5 active guys and we're racking up the kills with ease. The most memorable was a small cruiser/bc gang from NEOS FLEET (Executioner, Stabber, Omen Navy, Vexor, Coercer, a fancy Prophecy and an Ashimmu) we took a Cane, Prophecy, SFI and a Cyclone with a Maulus. The Maulus got popped almost immediately but we went to town on the rest, killing all but what turned out to be the neutral Ashimmu in short order for no further losses. The Ashimmu warped out under pressure, but for some reason 10 minutes later decided to warp to 10 on a small plex in front of 3 of us in cruisers, ta very much, 250mil kill.

Another good fight was against 2 Nomens a Vexor and a Rupture from Dirt 'n' Glitter. We started with 5 cruisers to their 4 but this was a much tougher prospect warping into a med plex when they had the higher ground, especially since the Nomens could kite and pick us off. We activated on the gate an I burnt straight for the furthest Nomen at about 30km but quickly got called primary and lost a Thorax, then we lost a rupture leaving 3 of our guys in. I reshipped to my own Nomen but the battle was already won, we had reinforcements arriving as people were logging in and grew to about 7 in fleet. I got back in time to snag all but one kill. I later derped a Comet into the same guys who had shipped down to AFs, meh: isk war reference or something.

The night wore on and the Amarrian forces grew in number and started to challenge us, we moved from a loose skirmish gang to a more formal fleet but it took me a little while to adjust and was acting like I was with the same guys I'd been flying with most of the day and lost a Heretic needlessly whilst telling guys joining fleet not to do exactly what I did. Shut up and jumped into Logi after that. We went from frigs to cruisers and back again, pushing plexes in Kourm, trying to pick our fights a bit but in the end they had the numbers on us, our frigs got jumped by what seemed to be 3 times our numbers and welped in a small. We re-shipped to dessys and called on our allies, still outnumbered we all hit the small again and entered into a bit of a grindfest, I killed 4 and pushed their ECM off field before my Algos bit the dust, we lost the fight and bailed. Amarr blueballed after that and held the plexes, I played Dragon Age because the NPCs give better fights.

Ended the night 44 kills for 4 losses.

Weekend Friday 28th November to Sunday 30th

Strange days fellow capsulers, FeO took the decision to drop from Minmatar Militia during the week and from this rank and file pilots perspective it was quite a relief to log in and just look for straight up fights instead of being a slave to d-plexing (you see what I did there?). Huola looks busy, undock my Heretic and start finding action straight away. Over the course of the evening I see 22 kills but none of any significance other than an auto piloting Fenrir meeting it's end on the Huola-Kourm gate, didn't drop anything but a 2bil kill none the less.

On the other hand my losses are a bit more interesting; The first occurs on the Kourm-Huola gate, there's a neutral Daredevil on the gate which I lock up to see what he'll do. A couple of FeO guys are with me but we're skirmishing and supporting each other rather than running a formal fleet. A neutral Keres then jumps in and immediately points me (I'm flashy), I confidently activate my missile launchers knowing full well that the Keres is toast....except I still have the DD locked and aggressed him, then the gate guns aggress me. I know I'm screwed but overheat both MWD and repper to try and burn out of the point range. Narp, not happening. Bounce my pod to a safe before docking up to grab another Heretic.

The next hour is very quiet, almost as if there are orders not to engage us as the Amarr just run, I only get onto two kills. I'm not bothered, chatting on TS and having a few beers (and rums) anyway until there's a shout that a DbD Hurricane has red-boxed on the Kourm-Huola gate, I'm close so load nova and set to work. As we're chipping away at him I see a familiar ship on my overview, I call it on comms but I know what's coming next. The ship in question is a boosting Claymore, the ship it's boosting is a 1/2 bil Garmur piloted by Tikktokk Tokkzikk a well known Amarrian soloist and I'm the biggest threat on field. He's got the better of me, I'm aggressed and off gate and even if I do get my web on him he'll still be faster and can use the faction scram I know he has to pull range. I try to burn up in the hope that the rest of the guys understand and burn away to get a warp-in (but don't explain this on comms) while I try and apply damage with my missiles....they're not even touching him. I realise my mistake try to de-aggro and burn back down. I've got a minute to go, I'm overheating my repper but I'm in half armour and have to go back passed the 'caine. I'm screwed, tbh I gave up and switch to my escape tab on the overview. My pod is worth 20x the ship and we have plenty of smart bombers around chasing them so concentrate of getting it out. Decide that I'm done for the night so log off without giving so much as a GF in local which isn't like me really, so if you read this Tikktokk Tokkzikk, GF!

Saturdays a waste of time, the Amarr are taking Huola and have no intention of scaling back things for a reasonable fight, we've just a handful active so go on a bit of a roam, the WZ is very quiet, nothing to shoot so go to the pub.

Wake up Sunday feeling ok so jump on the bike and motor into town with the GF on the back, get some breakfast, do normal stuff but on the way back I'm thinking about a new fleet ship that I can now fly. Log in and do a bit of shopping in Amarr (too lazy to go to Jita), get the ship and stick in a blingy fit...oh it's nice but not for today. It's after DT so the Amarr are moving in, one of which has a pattern for moving in his ships that I spot, my hauler is on the way back so I turn him around to get the required tools, jump my main into a Cov Ops to get eyes on while Viscora sets up for the trap. 10 minutes later, tools delivered and we're set up. I watch him undock in his pod, give the shout on comms and move to my second screen to see the action. Squished Amarrian pods, nom nom. He gave up after that and went to hi sec to suicide haulers - leet PVP.

I jump into an Ashimmu for the first time and we head for a bit of gate camping to welcome in our new overlords aaand they don't show. So we move our camp around a bit, snag a few things here and there. To my surprise I manage to point a Rapier on a gate and he pops extremely quickly, a quick check of the KM shows why..it's empty...lol.

End the month 278 kills for 23 losses. Not bad, and now I've got targets on my undock the next month will be interesting.

Welcome to Huola guys, I do hope you enjoy your stay Twisted
