I have a character named Lon Vinzant. He was created a few weeks ago. I was following the career path that teaches me to scan. I got to a cylinder that I had to hack. After successfully hacking it, then doing it multiple times, nothing came out. I scanned, I looked around, I tried to find whatever was supposed to be there. I found nothing. Mind you this is in the training mission. Am I so uncoordinated that I need to consider doing a different mission? How do I complete the TRAINING mission when nothing comes out?

Could a mod move this to new citizens? I know nothing of current tutorials.

Zoom the camera in until you can see the can that you're hacking. When you've hacked it a new can (square box in space) will show up that you need to left-click to pull in, but you need to get to it right away or it will disappear.

This new can will NOT show up on the overview or on your scan window. You can only see it in space.

When you do an actual hacking site (not a tutorial) there will be a lot of these cans that pop out at once, and you'll want some friends with you in order to get them all before they disappear.
