I hear that if you make a petition, as you're a returning player, a GM will move one ship and its cargo to Jita for you, with you in it.

Because you couldn't help your situation while you were unsubscribed. GMs appear pretty fast to help new or returning players - I reckon they're a priority. I don't know for sure, of course.

I hope this is a troll. If this is something CCP actually does then it's ridiculous. It's basically saying anyone that ragequits after losing space will have free reign to have a ship relocated. Essentially rewarding a sub cancellation. Yet if you lose a ship because you client locks up post patch due to CCPs inability to program they refuse to help out since "it isn't a server error"

TEST will undoubtedly be using this to extract from fountain.

It is something they do, but the idea is that it's done for people who have been gone for multiple years. They're not going to move your stuff because you took a month's break.

You can make a public contract for all your assets to be moved from H-W to whatever the heck system -low sec is a good place to start making new friends and get a good foot in the game again.

Now imho, and really just because I'm a good guy I would tell you to make a courier contract to an alt first then create another courier contract, so if someone just because he can wants a piece of those assets, he gets a nice plastic wrap instead.

Wonderful so many returning alts, hehem, characters since a week or two Lol fantastic !

From my understanding, this is true.

CCP is likely viewing it as a good business concept. The player is more likely to maintain the re-subbed account if he/she is able to continue the game in a manner similar to where he/she left off. If they didn't do this, players would simply quit because they have no means of moving/using the stuff they had previously worked for.

It may go against many of their other "your fault, so live with it" attitudes, but in the end it is just a business focused on a bottom line.

Thanks for your input folks, I'll wait for the GMs a few days and see if it works or not, otherwise I'll just sell stuff cheaper than Jita and haul my ass out of there in a pod.

Buy at Jita prices back in high sec :O

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Ah yes another thread that just has people staying up at night eager to join a nullsec corp and move everything out there just so they can not be called a carebear any more.

truth is, I'm tired of 0.0 actually, they expect too much pvp action when I actually don't have the time commitment for that.

If you were down for a long time and found yourself in "hostile" space you can always petition CCP for assistance. I have heard they help out returning players in these situations.

Just had to fly to Cobalt Edge to create contracts for stuff I had up there from when I was in IC.

No big deal just a lot of flying and the need to have Marketting at a reasonable level.

Now I just need someone to buy my contracts.

I also had stuff in another station about 30 jumps from E-BYOS but I haven't got there yet got distracted with Data site hacking.

At the end of the day it's easy to go sell the stuff and easy to make more isk to buy more stuff else where.

There's even skills to help you do this.

So why should CCCP GMs help?

Create a contract of quite a decent reward (Depending on the m3 and distance) and a collateral to cover it if the assets never get out.

I once had assets in 0.0 after i left a corp, I putted contract up and my contract was finally accepted and someone JF'd my assets to Jita Big smile

Note: Do not contact anyone or mail anyone, just contract the assets to go to Jita. DO NOT FORGET COLLATERAL HIGHER THAN THE VALUE OF THE ASSETS TO COVER IT IN CASE IT GETS LOST.

Or you could have asked hirr, (who are part of Razor, who are part of CFC, who own the region and have docking rights in that station,) if they take you back.

You get one ship and you have to be unsubbed for over 6 months.

As a method of asset extraction, it's considerably less efficient than spending 6 months mining in hi-sec and buying new stuff.

very true, never trust goons, public contract it is :D

Don't limit it to the goons - most of null runs that way (not all but most).

"sure come on down and get your stuff" - unless it's from a group that has a solid rep for honoring their word on stuff -- don't trust them and the big blocks there have squat reps for honor vs lulz.

Even if they do honor their word, you then need to bring all that stuff from there to wherever you are basing while relearning the game. That can be a rather risky trip.

Pop a contract and let them bring it to you with it being nicely insured for a bit more than it costs to replace... Someone will bring it out to a safer spot for you to get it.

Thing is, HIRR is somewhat PVP heavy, and as much as I love the lemmings, I just dont have the time commitment to do pvp with them

Edit: Hi RAZOR pal, ;)

Ignore all the gentle joshing in this thread from the various frenemies of ours, Goons are all about helping out the newbie.

It's sad to see you have some stuff locked behind our lines, however all is not lost we have a standard JF rate of 550 Isk per m3 for non corp extractions, create a courier contract to me with the correct amount as reward and no collateral, max time to accept and max to complete, with final delivery in Jita, and I'll sort it out.

For expedited delivery (under 24 hours usually) add 10% or 5m Isk (whichever is the higher amount) to the reward.
