While you're adding custom probes, how about fixing the three probe hits only showing the ghost signature?

That has been fixed for 1.1 One result will be displayed in the results list, but two signatures will be visible in the 3D map.

fk that. CUSTOM PROBE FORMATIONS man!
also result persistence. anyone know wtf that means? here's hoping for persistent ignore list.

Jack I am assuming presistence would be refering to the idea that your previous scan results would either still show up in the scan results or on the map itself. Thus if you have a bad memory like me this will alleviate the need to resize up to find those signatures.

I am also hoping for a presistant ignore list. Would be nice to not have to overlay a spreadsheet onto my client while ded farming.

*EDIT*
Oh I didn't realize it was in 1.1. Was not expecting CCP to actually follow through with their promise of iteration. Here is a screen shot of presistant scanning in action.

Ignore list is not presistant, but ill happily use my sig spreadsheet with saved formation and presistant scanning =)

Nice, that's 3 pretty handy changes to scanning Big smile That new persistence behaviour looks damn handy, TBH that's nearly as good as saving custom formations.

i've tried the persistent thing out. looks alright

the wormhole sig was at 90% percent, same position is shown as the 90% scan in space map after moving off it

i'm tempted to say it's even better. makes scanning down all the sigs in a system a lot faster, not having to resize probes nearly as much

i dont really see it as THAT useful tbh.
i mean, any time i get anything other than a WH IDd i just hit ignore anyway so really, does it make a difference?
It's def a neat change but really, the only benefit I see is that you can just speed ID the whole system, then clear your ignore list and copy+paste your results into whatever scanning tool you use so that you dont have to add them one at a time.
it's a fine feature but custom formations are far more beneficial.
