So CFC are about to become landlords.
Their scammers often hang out in the in-game recruitment channel i believe.
They are now banned from scamming space rental deals.

I wonder how many people are about to troll the scammers with overly-innocent fake applications for renting systems?
Would drive the scammers nuts having all those seemingly naive people begging to be parted from their isk and yet untouchable because this scam is a kickable offense now.

Not that i would do this myself........i was just asking.

If your alliance lives long enough in EvE it turns into everything it once hated.

I guess there's going to be a lot more "overview bug" explanation headaches for the diplos when they start shooting the renters.

I think you misunderstand the terms of rental if you think they'll give Chribba anyting.

you don't rent, you simply live on a region and pay who holds SOV. i guess the problem comes from the term "renter" its not a rent, its a "land tax". renters don't mind changing landlords, the eastern side of eve has renter corps who have lived on the same regions for years now, and have seen countless SOV changes.

i've even seen renters do anoms when there's an invasion fleet in system. why? because the alliance taking the space doesn't just want the space, they also want the people in it. the renters know this so they don't really care.

the problem for the goons is their doctrine of "scorched earth", it doesn't really work on the post odyssey eve.

if they think renters are people who will move to their space and work it, they are wrong. those are either terrible corps of newbies that will fail to pay rent on time or simply cant after a few months, or an AWOX waiting to happen. renters see the payment of the Tax as predictable and reliable as their PLEX timers.

I don't think the Chribba purpose of his Chribba post was to Chribba actually discuss the likelihood Chribba of a certain Swede getting his Chribba spot Chribba back Chribba Chribba.

Times change, a wonderful smash and grab by some disgruntled director stealing nearly 400Bil from the rent drop box, pointed the way forward, we have to change with the times.

That said I had to Google the word Usufruct

I think you misunderstand why he said chribba . Let me explain it in a fashion you should understand :

Candyman , candyman , candyman , candyman , candym ..............

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Isnt the Retirement Club forbidden from posting on external forums by Ser Molle himself? Why endanger yourself like this OP?

not really, a nullbear would be a member of the alliance who actually has to defend the space on a CTA, and then spends his time spewing bile and rage over afk cloakies not letting him pew pew NPCs on his pimpmobile. a renter is a smart guy who values his time and simply conducts his activities where its more profitable, without having to worry about CTAs and AFK cloakies. either because he flies T1 crap that gets the job done, or they ARE the cloakies.

remember, the tax paid is part of the profit calculation. same with highsec mining, i mined through the first gall ice interdiction, and even losing them at a rate of 4 - 5 per hour, i was still making more isk, with less effort, than if i were doing some other activity.

if the tax makes space not profitable with low effort, why live there? and if the landlord will show up wearing a wig while you are taking a bath and stab you, why even consider moving there? Lol

"I for one, welcome our new insect overlords..."

Now that I have the obligatory Kent Brockman quote out of the way: They can rent if they want to, it's their space. I don't have an issue with renting. I do have an issue with renters (mostly because of their attitudes), but there's always going to be a lower form of life, might as well be them.

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."
