Why does my ehp not go up when I run my active shield tank?

Shield Boosters = restores shields.

Shield hardeners, extenders, etc. strengthen your shields and its resistances, which increases your EHP.

That would be logical yes but it does not show on the fitting tool.

EHP = Effective H(it)(ealth) Points

Your shield booster does not ADD any of those. It RESTORES them once they have been taken away. There are other values in fitting tools that should how much sustained damage you can tank, etc.

Yes it does. The shield hardeners are active modules so they need to be activated for the effects to show on the fitting tool.
