If President Obama played this game he could really understand our community, he could unite the tribes so to speak.

Imagine a world without conflict, Obama could do that.

Imagine a world where all wealth is shared equally. Obama can do that.

Imagine a world where the richest man and the poorest man sit down at the same table and eat the same meal, Obama can do that.

Obama is more than just the American President he is truly the first Global President.


Let New Eden be the new meeting place of the United Nations as a shining vision of all that could be.

What could the Mittani learn from Obama? what could Obama learn from the Mittani?

Oh god! We would all be compelled to purchase over priced ship insurance, that will not cover ship losses in all but the most exotic of circumstance. The insurance will be way over priced, and it will only pay like a faction or tech 2 insurance on a t1 hull. (Expect even less out of the aforementioned faction and t2 hulls.)

As opposed to the current system, where you have to work for a large corporation or government corp in order to get Group Insurance. Just think of all the low-sec people who have to get their ship insurance on the private (player) market. As soon as they make a major claim (or even just get a little bit into hull,) their their premiums are raised sky-high or their insurance is just outright canceled (because, you know, insurance companies can't make a profit on sick, flaming ships.) And if you have low sec status (i.e. a prior condition,) they won't even bother to offer to cover you (i.e. your pre-conditions can prevent you from getting insurance, you ebil piwate!)

And if you get kicked out or leave your cushy large corp, then you have just 18 months to find a new corp with group insurance. In the meantime, you can continue your existing ship insurance under COBRA, but your insurance is no longer subsidized so you wind up with a monthly insurance bill that can be as expensive as your ships mortgage payment.

Oh, and if your ship is pregnant, no one in the private market will cover your ship. Because you know, profits are more important to the Party that Champions Family Values(tm).
