To Cloak or not to Cloak (that is the question)

So... I'm intending to use a Bhaalgorn for some C2 defense work but this presents a problem. Bhaalgorn on D-scann will either mean intruders might run away run away or phone a friend for the tasty killmail a BG represents.

Ignatius likes neither of these options and he wants his BG to be a surprise.

So...

Sacrifice a Nos or Neut and reduce my Vampiric Tendencies by 33%?

~or~

Sacrifice a Mega Pulse taking away 25% of my light show?

Obviously I'm not alone (that'd be silly) so I'm not expected to be the damage dealer but it poses an interesting dilemma.

The only other thing I think I could do would be to hide the BG in the Ship Array and only get it out when I'm about to warp to someone's imminent screaming death at my hands.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't fit a cloak. It'll take long enough to lock someone in a BS without the sensor penalty. I would either grab it from the array as needed or do as Zhilia says and log on with it to warp to the spot.

Either way, since you can't warp cloaked, you will end up showing on D-Scan when you're on the way, no matter what.

Lose a gun, get a cloak and let that BG be a surprise :). i can assure you from experience that the BG in a C2 is a fun surprise... Lol

I'd sacrifice the megapulse, your main goal is to be neuting, not DPS - if you're sacrificing nueting than you might as well be in something else that could lay down more hurt.

Offline the cloak while in warp to the target to remove the scan res penalites, fit rainbow crystals to make up for the lost light show, profit.

^_ I'd do that to.

As a note: what would be worse: no cloak and losing a bil on being ganked or dealing a bit less dmg when dmg isn't your primary purpose. Tough call.

Okay.

Next question:

To NOS or Neut. I can see the appeal of both but I can't decide... Thinking of wargaming both out with my corpies to see what would be better but I'd love some input.
