Player backed ship designs

Player backed ship designs would be a ship design that was purposed and funded by a player, corp, or alliance. Whoever funded and purposed the ship design would get a blurb in the ships info about having a joint research or hiring 1 of the ship designer NPC corps and the reasoning for wanting the ship design.

Once the design is purposed and the funds provided CCP would see if the ship would be possible for balancing reasons, If its found that its not possible to make that design the funds would be returned. Each tier of hull could cost a certain amount of isk, say starting at 5 trillion isk for frigate hulls and working your way up from there capping at sub-cap ships.

Example pricing:

Frigate hull: 5 trillion isk
Destroyer hull: 10 trillion isk
Cruiser hull: 15 trillion isk
Battlecruiser hull: 20 trillion isk
Battleship hull: 25 trillion isk

If the pricing on the examples are to low then raise them to what would be appropriate. The point of having a high entry point would be to make them rarer and a big point. It would also inject some more player based lore into the game.
