Is it possible to assemble a carrier in a low sec npc station with factory ? Parts will be build in high sec !
Or can carriers only assembled in capital construction arrays at a sov system pos ?

you can't assemble the actual ship in hi-sec, only low or null (either pos or stations). also, although you can construct the parts in hi-sec, i would strongly advise against it. reason being the volume of the completed parts will be huge and you'll need to get them into low sec somehow. even with a freighter this till be a challenge.

most people doing this will get the materials into a lowsec station and build parts and the ship there.

Dreads and carriers can be built in station (in lowsec/nullsec). It's supers and titans that have to be built in a POS in sov space.

You really don't want to make the parts in highsec and move them, the number of trips will be horrid, the parts are much larger than the minerals that goes into them.

Confirming.

I've also built capitals in w-space from parts and also from minerals. Both were a huge PITA, though the parts took far fewer Orca trips. We later moved to a C5 and just bought capitals off the lowsec and NPC nulsec contract market, which was far simpler. [I still have a throw-away Heron at the lowsec station where I bought my Rorqual. I forgot to re-package the Heron and stuff it in the Rorqual's cargo.]

Compress minerals into Railgun 425 mm, move to low sec station, reprocess and build parts and then carriers.

I can pack around 10 carriers into 1 JF trip (330k m3).

The wastage is around 0.05% of minerals or so.

That's an Awsome idea. Less risk to the freighter as well I guess

For compression of Trit, consider Gaze Survey Probe I. /Slightly/ longer manufacture time, 2800 units per m3, rather than 2049 per m3.

Especially as it's actually possible to prefect the blueprint, within a month of research (if you really want to). Around 6000 isk per run of 1400s different.

But you need other minerals too when building carriers, not only trit.

I stopped trying to get it "Best" done and just move it in rails and pack the extra minerals I'm missing.

One jump cost like nothing, so no problem to make couple trips.

Try a mix of 425 railguns and Fusion XL

Fusion is ONLY Trit, Pyerite and Mex, so you use up the high ends making rails and burn up the rest of the trit/pye/mex making fusion
