Need more AFK cloakers in Period Basis

I and a corpie and one other person have been AFK cloaking in Tribal Band space for the last two weeks. Unfortunately we're only three people and can't AFK cloak in more systems than those 3.

The other two are not PvPrs however I dabble in it and if you check my kills you'll see apart from removing the 100% safety blanket that null seccers enjoy you also get the opportunity to gank so ships every now and then.

Why would you want to do this you ask? Well if you have an alt account or two and when not using them cloak up in a null ratting hub, the ratters have to either move, not undock or rat with you there. Usually after a day or two they'll start to rat. Whenever you feel the urge, do a quick scan, locate, gank, afk and you'll have a constant supply of ships to gank for almost no effort.

Its a win lose situation, you win, they lose.

Peroid Basis is easy yo get into, you have Test, NCdot and many Tribal systems and Tribal is meh when it comes to defending its nullbears. Been ganking in a hub with often 20 logged in and have not had anyone come to rescue a target yet. The Nightmare I killed took about 3 mins and there were 20 in local at the time.

Yet, I bet it produced at least one (maybe more) crying threads in the 'Features & Ideas Forum' and 'Assembly Hall' to make changes because there is "Nothing" you can do about AFK-Cloakers.

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Pretty much my point to these lovely people in Crime and Punishment. If my "failfit" can kill 22 of your ships in your alliance hub system without you being able to do anything about it then imagine what real PvP'rs could do.

Thank you for helping explain the situation :)

As for the fit - its optimal for what Im doing. Its the fastest aligning fastest moving highest damage and cheapest proteus fit for the job It has a burst tank for crawling to gate that saved my ass from dying to you guys quite a few times.

Yeah, I don't see how linking a kill with lots of ships ganging up on her proves anything either. I can only imagine the raging conversations that happened over a few days to put a fleet together to hunt her.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

I give you credit where its due. The hot drop was done well but linking the pod kill, after I asked for pod ex back is a little much oo

Confirming AFK cloaking is best cloaking.

Lol

What were your 22 ratters doing correctly when they got blown up?

If by recruitment you mean, recruiting other like minded individuals to come down to Tribal Band space to AFK and get the occasional kill without joining my corp then yes.

If by recruitment thread you mean invitation to join my corp then no.

I am unwise in the ways of AFK cloaking but am willing to learn for a good cause.

Are stealth bombers reasonable ships for going after ratters? It's a highly skilled alt so decent deeps.

Not really tried bombers. Trained and used them a couple of times only. Couldn't hurt though, hope to see you in PB :)
