I only see another yet another thread with people telling you how much all you do sucks.

You should ask to have this thread closed already.

I think there's no better idea than getting people involved in Eve and the wars going on. Stories are fun, I have many from when I used to actually log in.

I do applaud and support any effort to get player driven events going in Eve, I think that's the best thing about this game.

However, having said all that, I feel like any honest suggestion I make would fall on deaf ears. I'm not the best at expressing myself and what I have to say will probably be taken the wrong way anyway since the medium of text can't convey any emotion.

So mr. harry you might as well get it over with and block me now, a truely absurd reaction to what people are telling you, but whatever dude. Frankly I think your own bone headed attitude has ruined any event more than these so called 'trolls'.

I think I just don't like some people here, and how they approached me and others when we want to try new stuff... pretty simple

if you want to get blocked for that, fine, here you go

No, yours just sucks, is all. At any point has it come into your mind that people are attacking what you do and what you say because it's wrong? I mean, if one person tells you have a tail, you tell them to go screw themselves. But by the time the fourth person tells you that have a tail, it might be time to check...

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

#1, screenshots.

#2, do you really have no concept in having pride in being part of something bigger than yourself? Or even of sharing a group achievement?

Wormholes are a crusty bone CCP threw out there to make up for the shonky null mechanics. They're annoying to live in, annoying to have any active sort of systems war. Some people want to fight for and participate in null. Like me. However its not possible to do that with the way null is atm.

Those "annoyances" are precisely what limit the power projection and blobbing you were objecting to.

How do you have non "annoying" logistics and at the same time still limit blobbing? Arbitrary limits? GM intervention to force fair fights? Chivalrous tournaments at the sun?

First you get rid of the ridiculous WoW style portals (titans). If you don't like a harsh universe where you're at risk from travelling you shouldn't have signed up to EvE.

I'm close to 100 jumps round trip in enemy 0.0, I want to be out there, I don't even have stations to rearm in, or refit, or repair. I have a buddy in a Buzzard with a small rep on that has to sit there for an hour repping my Prot when it gets too damaged.

Why is so hard for people to travel a few jumps in sov territory with stations and friends everywhere?

Titans and insta travel provides an entity with the ability to project its force arbitrarily across the map. This makes it too easy to drop a few sov markers anywhere one likes and if some start up wants to claim a bit of space smash them and be back before dinner.

Then there's fail-sec logistics, you don't need them. No need to cart goods to high sec, just jump in your jump freighter, straight to Mai and a couple of jumps to Amarr, jump back from the station undock.

I could go on but that's enough for now.

Caution on that kind of stuff.

You've already received replies outlining some of your misconceptions which you simply dismissed.

Your off-hand dismissal of their areas? Just 1 question: What the hell do you have countering what they *DO* have from any other space or areas?

I may not care for how null works and I may see the current mixup as more "who's turn in the barrel this month" than anything actual but I also do recognize that many of the members out there do hold some pride in what they are doing.

Dismissing around 1/3rd of the players as trivialities doesn't come across well and you seem to have a tendency to do that in this thread.

They have their stories, they have their named 'heroes', etc. You are simply refusing to acknowledge what some 10's of thousands of players are seeing and involved with.

As such, who's missing what part of this game?

Again, I may not be a big fan of how they operate and the game mechanics that make their lives so easy but I don't just off-hand dismiss the realities of "their stories" and the like.

Blobs are boring to be a part of, but people sign up to it and thats more ccp money to make the game that i play.

you can argue what content is good and bad but ultimately why do you or should you care?

I dont like null, so i dont go there.

its not rocket surgery

Don't worry , a lot of the nullguys do the same thing when they talk about high-sec so that probably is the only thing harry is NOT doing wrong.

And if you did like it you would, and you'd probably have more fun in null then in high sec, and you'd probably tell your friends about all the fun and they'd maybe try the game... now your friend likes null ...

I did not miss anything, I'm just telling them why we do not get involved... they need to get better in the areas that I told them, then maybe I will move over to their big war and bomb them... the last war, however was meaningless to me and many others, because of lacking story content... I want them to improve like they wanted us to improve

its a bit of a counter thread to anotherone with my content that did get beaten down like a dog by those people
some who know what they are doing will not care anyway, the right people will suffer from this one though...

actually both of the threads are discussing the former, you're just systematically blocking everyone in this thread so you can pretend anyone is agreeing with you

unfortunately for you everyone else reading the thread can read all of the replies you are trying to pretend dont exist so you come off as a crazy person
