Stories are told constantly. In corp chats. Alliance chats. In friends chat channels. We talk amongst ourselves, you wanna hear stories? Make some friends. Instead of trying to live vicariously off of other peoples exploits.

Why should we go out of our way to tell stories of the things we do to strangers? You wanna hold hands and talk about feelings too after we sing kumbaya around a campfire?

BTW people are mostly killing haulers and the occasional cruiser now. Those are just the ones I know of, of course. Not everybody phones home with their kills. Actually most don't.

People who are good at warfare do what they can to simplify every facet of it. As you make things more and more complicated, managing a full fleet or two or people becomes increasingly impossible.

Look, I could spend a bunch of time learning the solid brick of knowledge required to fully understand eve, be a special snowflake, and over-writing cherished memories and valueable life skills, or I can not do that.

As a small gang PvP'er, it makes me sad to think that some people think 80+ man blobs is "real PvP". Sure, it is.

But guess what? No one cares if you were not present. You're just another cog in the machine. A replaceable cog, a mass manufactured one, a cog that has the sole purpose of pressing F1 on a target.

But small gang or microgang PvP? You're the butter for the bread. Your failures can destroy the whole fleet; your actions can turn the tables and lead to a victory against all odds. You grow within a community, and the community becomes an inseparable part of your own identity.
