Lol, calling it WoW style has no bearing on it, it's just your attempt to rally support for a bad idea. Secondly, it's probably because your Proteus, oh, I don't know, can align and warp to a point about twenty times (it's probably higher, titans have pretty absurd travel times) faster than a titan can?

It's almost like CCP made it next to impossible for them to conventionally travel as a limiting factor to their enormous power. Wait, no, it's exactly like that.

You have to go 100 trips (which, btw, is pretty funny considering you said it was about 70 last time. Hyperbole is awesome, huh?) because you have no friends to back you up, and you have no docking rights anywhere. That is your fault. Basically, you are arguing for a limiting feature because you are doing it all wrong.

Of course they don't. Most of the "blob-hate" is just people trying to find some way to feel superior over other people. In this case it's the "leet" PVPrs looking down on the "mindless F1 button pushers"....as if imaginary space ship prowess proves something about someone lol.

It never works that way in reverse. You never see Fleet fight enthusiasts screaming "look at those small gang nubs, fighting in their groups of 3 to 13 like some kind of unclean barbarians!" over comms lol. This is because people who enjoy fleet fights are too busy watching the map change to worry about other PVPrs lol.

C´mon dude, EVE is a sandbox and yes, 90% of fights are alliance blobs, baits, gatecamps or hotdrops. But solo play is not dead its just a little bit harder. Solo hunt in lowsec for example is PVP on hard mode in my eyes, very rare, but you have much more satisfaction if you find a target. Then you stalk it (cloaky ship is a must), analyze it if it could be a bait with cyno or just random solo player roaming the lowsec. And then you make a decision if to fight or not to fight. For me, this is much more interesting and more thrilling than just F1 tagged targets from FCs.

And if you want to roam with random ppl, try incursion community. in spare time they do lowsec roams occasionally, or as i mentioned above, try Bombers Bar. And i believe that there are many more "random fleets communities" out there.


blobs are fine, as long as they have some interesting stories to tell... but some here want to make COD out of EvE... that sucks

bombers bar is cool though, I'm a big fan


Most of the stories you are looking for are told on another website. Outside of a bit of trolling most of the big alliances don't really post here due to heavy handed moderation (Which ISD has only made worse). I have plenty of great stories from the fountain war, and I only joined "The Blob" once and that was for the last fight.
