For that sort of thing you may want CCP to update their fireworks launchers, not sure about the weapon changes otherwise!

A field effect weapon... interesting.

We already have bubble effects from hictors, maybe you might want to make a thread.

As to using decoys, we already have crude versions of this every time someone attempts to bait an attack ship into an ambush.

The Marauder in the OP is simply using a more polished and effective version. Tech II specialized, as it were.
