Auto pilot security/Avoidance systems

Hi

I remember there used to be an option where you could chose to avoid low sec system . . .

I can't find that feature anymore. Have they removed it?

It opens the menu where you can make your setting changes.

Quite a lot, the autopilot settings have moved to the top left of your screen where your route shows, it's symbolised by a capital A.

Autopiloting is bad, and it will get you killed, even in highsec.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Your autopilot takes into consideration avoidance list and autopilot will get you killed depending on what you have or if they just want your tears.

He's refering to the A in the top-left corner of your screen, next to the text Route. Here you can find all the autopilot settings... And yes, autopilot will get you killed sooner or later - especially if you carry a bunch of cargo or have expensive modules fitted.

As for what's wrong with autopilot? It drops you 15km from the gate or station and slowboats the rest of the way. If you're in a pod people will gank you for lols, if you're flying a hauler, shuttle or frigate and somebody thinks you're carrying shiny stuff, they'll gank you for it, if you're not carrying shiny stuff they'll still gank you, for lols.
