Hey again all,
I got EVE to run well under Linux, I installed the Nvidia drivers sinec Nouveau wasn't doing it and now it all works. The thing is, I look in the graphics settings, and it reports that I have a GeForce 8800 GTX... In reality I have a GeForce GT 620. Perhaps this is a dumb question, but why is it reporting as something different? Is this a side effect of using WINE?

Propably just wine. I've got the same "problem", only with GT 645M and optimus.

That was an issue with very old WINE versions, where the (newish) graphic cards are not properly recognized and defaulted to the 8800.

Since you didn't say which WINE version you used, use WINE 1.6! :)

Ah, my apologies. I am using 1.6, apparently that is still an issue... lol
