So here is what we are offering. Success in EVE depends on teamwork. Teamwork means collaboration across voice comms, Forums for persistent information and IM’s for quick collaboration on the go. If you are planning on working in WH’s a good WH tracking tool is ridiculously useful. On top of these necessities, We add a corporation management tool and put them all into a single package.

I am offering to sell you a fully functioning web server that you can run from home, to host an assortment of EVE tools. These tools will help you run your Corporation/Alliance considerably easier and I’m putting it all together for you in a nice clean package. Everything you need in one place without having to run different programs on different servers. And you can run it all on your home PC!
Since you will own the server it is much more secure than using someone else's server/website. You will have full control over this box (experience with Linux / Ubuntu recommended... or the willingness to learn!)
Some of these tools can be a nightmare to install and host locally if you do it yourself, so this server will help in alleviating those issues. I’ve done all the hard stuff for you! It took at least 50 hours for me to get everything up and functioning. Save yourself the time and hassle.

I have created a fully functioning web server with the following installed:
Teamspeak3 (Voice Communications)
Jabber (Chatroom like service)
ECM (Corp Management Software) (can install multiple copies of ECM for various corps)
SMF Forums (EVERY group needs a good forum)
EVEWSPACE (open sourced WH tool)
Mumble (Installing admin toons soon tm)

POS Tracker (semi duplicated since ECM is already installed, but easy enough to add)


Details:

- You will need your own domain name. These are very easy to find from any domain register IE google, godaddy, host gator etc...

Ex: www.yourcorp.com

- This is installed via Oracle VM running Ubuntu 13.04. UFW Firewall is fully enabled and is using rsnapshot to take incremental backups every few hours and once a day. (If your harddrive dies your dead in the water... I am working on a secure remote backup solution as well).

VPS Host
(Highly recommend going this route. Costs a few $ a month but its a better option)

- I have had great success with a VPS hosting company called FAPVPS.com. I highly recommend them and their customer support has been great. We can use any VPS host you desire however assuming they are willing to load a .img of the server.

- The cheapest server you need from them will be around $11 a month.

Home Installation

- Recommended specs for the PC
8GB of ram (2gb + will be used by the server)
50gb of HD space (the install is only taking < 20gb ATM, but you want room to grow)
A fast internet connection

- You will need to install the Oracle VM. This can be found at. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html#vbox

- I will send you the Installation via mega.co.nz and guide you on how to install this service on your PC.

Misc

- There is probably 1-3 hours worth of work that needs to be accomplished that I will help you with which involves changing specific addresses on the PC, resetting passwords to something only you will know etc. Time depends on your skill with computers. Using GotoMeeting / Teamviewer etc will speed the process along. If you are paranoid about security I can send you my documents and assist you via email or chat. However, my documentation is not yet complete so it would be MUCH easier for both of us if I can help you at least get it set up. You can change your passwords and such later.

- The Teamspeak3 is unlicensed ATM and can only support 32 users. Info on how to acquire a 500 user non-profit license for free is located here - https://sales.teamspeakusa.com/licensing.php

Update:

Mumble fully working, working out the details for a good admin GUI to manage the server outside of the client app (via web)

Server admin inside the client app works great as well as terminal management (harder then the GUI for the novice user).

Had a fresh install go fairly well yesterday on a VPS hosting server.

Assuming everything goes well for him in the next few days I will recommend the company as an option for people to use.
