Sellling Blueprints from Explored Sites

I've recently returned to the game, and I've received a number of blueprints from exploration. I noticed, however, that they can't be sold on the market like other items. I searched in contracts, but found only sell orders. There are no buy orders available. So, I'm wondering how a new player can estimate the value of the blueprints, and whether or not it's a good idea to put up a sell order in the contractual system.

Cluster around the other sell orders. Or find a bulk buyer interested in taking a bunch off your hands.

Honestly, the vast majority of blueprints you get from exploration aren't worth selling or producing, but some of them are decent. You could, of course, train up some industry and figure out which are worth your own time as well. But that goes beyond blueprint marketplace.

Thank you, Zhilia. Your advice is always helpful. Smile

You could drop by the blueprints channel and ask what they're worth. Just be prepared to be told they're worth nothing (most exploration module BPCs are worth just about nothing)

I didn't know there was a BPs channel. Thank you for letting me know.

Unfortunately, blueprint copies don't have entries in the commodities market; they're generally bought and sold through the contract system.

calculate how much it would cost you to manufacture item(s) with your blueprint with production efficiency 5. Then look at price of final product. difference makes about the cost of BP. Then you can multiply that difference by number of runs. You need to take into account that no1 will buy BP if they won't have income from manufacturing it.

Is there a means to determine what my material cost would be at Production Efficiency V, without having Production Efficiency V?

the game tells you, it will have

material name - [You: # required - Perfect: # required]
