Why can“t people chance their fits for suit better to the task.

Problem:
You are in fast and shoftly tanked ship what needs range to survive. You see a blaster boat inside the plex. Most likely camping the beacon.

Solution:
Go ahed and fit a ECM burst. Should give you a change to pull the range.

I would try just about anything else first, tbh. Probably in the following order:

1) Bring a brawler and just out-brawl the SOB.
2) If you MUST kite, take the gate, OH and spam the MWD as soon as you land.
3) Choose not to take the fight, camp a different plex at range.
3) Find a friend, 2 on 1 him.

I have quite a few actually, I don't think battleclinic updates every kill, and I don't post them.

Either way, it's true. You rarely get out of web / scram range, and almost never get out of 13km OH web or 11km OH scram, even with an OH MWD and 4.8km/s due to sig bloom.

No. Nobody does. It is awfull idea to be taken seriously.

But my point was, since the guy is in the plex and it is obvious what he is going to do. Reship or refit into something what suits the task better.

Paul, you have once again come to the forum asking for water. The problem is that your cup seems to be full already. Empty your cup of the stale tainted water you carry with you and allow this amazing community to fill it with fresh stuff.

I fly brawlers. I like to get right up in your face so I can watch it melt. The bane of my existence are fast kitey ships that I can miether escape nor approach. However the opposite can be said when I land right on top of one but then again, if they are fast enough and just tanky enough they can still pull enough distance to turn the tides back on me.

Over the past year CCP has done a wonderful job of balancing the ships and weapons. I assure you Paul, none of them are broken. It is your tactics that lack testicular fortitude, or maybe just experience.

Try using an afternburner then? they cant be shut off by scrams and if u scram him he cant use his mwd.

Like I said, hitting the approach button on a blaster boat is a bad idea. If you want to scramkite against an Incursus, run an afterburner and keep at the edge of your range. Having your own scram/web helps with that. Also, level up your support and core skills.

Hallo Paul, nice to have you here in the community and we all enjoy reading your posts.

I don't think you are trolling. You are just facing some serious issues, getting yourself beaten up hard and not knowing how to deal with it and how to deal with the responses here to your threads.

All fellow pilots give you great advice, just give everyone a chance and just listen to what they suggest and build up on those suggestions, please.

Just listen to what they suggest and by that you will learn a lot and seriously, you will not lose anything by listening and putting those tips into action, but only become a better pilot.
Don't forget that the pilots who are giving you all the tips here are potentially those pilots who would have had wiped you off space, leaving your pod behind. It's them who are making you feel like weapon XYZ is OP (blasters here for the pilots chose to fight you in blaster-optimal range) or weapon XYZ is UP (rockets beause you use them and the enemy pilots you face stay out of your optimal range and take hardly any damage).

Many posts here in this thread have given me good tips and tricks about piloting and fittings.
Even tips how you could counter the short-range blasters.
No hard feelings, just trying to assist.

Well, all weapon systems have strengths and weaknesses and you have to expect that pilots will do whatever they can to maximize the strenghts and avoid the weaknesses.

I can assume you dScan a plex and do your KM-research before you enter a plex and what not?
You can check what ship the pilot(s) in the plex have lost before and try to find a fit for the ship that is in the plex.
Pilots have preferences for their ships and don't alter the fits they use that much.
It will give you an idea of what is ahead of you.
Often you can simply zoom in to the enemy ship you wanna fight, and clearly see what weapons the ship has fitted.

You warp into the plex when you are sure you will win and it is your own decision whether you warp into the plex or not. Nobody forces you to warp into the plex. If you are not sure whether you will win or not, just don't warp in. Leave it and go do something else. And if you still warp in, then just accept your fate and move on, regardless of the outcome of the battle inside the plex.

You cannot fit a single frigate that can do everything and kill all and give you good feelings every single time. You will counter and hardcounter some pilots and their ships and vice versa, so it is up to you and your judgment whether you are willing to warp in and face the fight that awaits you inside the plex or not.
Basically, if you make a bad and wrong judgment and lose the fight and your ship in the plex, well that is 100% your own fault.

It's not that you are getting ganked or something...you are intentionally making the decision to warp in and fight.

Well, this is basically what all pilots here and in all your threads try to tell you, just in different forms and flavors: "Plan your steps beforehand, always, before you take any actions."

Lost another pod today as i dc'd while landing on a hostile grid. Server hadnt established that i had dc'd so i got no emergency warp when my incursus died :(

I dont like losing moderately expensive pods, but have a guess how quickly they are replaced when i do? A clue would be if you knew how long it took to log in a jita/wallet/jumpfreighter alt :p

Thats because they are excellent and make for better game play.

I've been using one of them for a long while. But it seems to do nothing and I'm usually at half shields my the time I've activated the disruptor. I die that quick.

Okay, so I have to ask. How much ISK (in ISK or ships) have you received from other players at this point?
