I only have one question to you Goons.

Why do you kill independent real players in the Caldari ice belts. but leave the botting fleets with the freighters behind them alone?

Seriously, I just don't get it. If you want to destroy EVE as a game, you only need to keep on targeting normal players for long enough. There is the saying don't fly what you can't afford to lose, but let's get real here - most veterans many years ago stopped having any real risk at all in pvp, because the ship cost nothing, the implants cost nothing, and if you lose everything so what, plenty more in the hangar. The same does not go for new players, particularly miners in their first barge or their first ever exhumer. When you gank those people, you risk them quitting the game - I know it, I've seen it, and I miss my friends who walked out of EVE never to return. You may well say "good riddance plenty more" ... but that's the problem, there simply are not that many people interested in an old game where there are precious few powerblocks, where you can't fly the big ships for years, and newbie ships mean nothing in sov warfare. A thousand rifters really can't hurt a nyx.

So by all means go have fun, mess with ice prices. But come on ... use your brains. If someone is obviously new or a highsec carebear ... give them a pass. Gank the bots fleets ... unless, of course you approve of bots. I don't. But then again, if enough real players who like mining quit, we'll need bots or all the capitals in the game will be grounded.

You don't get the concept of a market intervention, do you?

'We're going to crush ALL THE COMPETITION - except my little pal here, he's OK and so is anyone he vouches for'. Does a RL trade union work like that? Of course not, they have to stop anyone working or they have no power.

Anyone that loses one ship in the interdiction should learn an affordable lesson. Anyone that loses two deserves no mercy at all.

Yes.

And while in RL that's abhorrent, in EVE it creates exactly the chaos that makes the game fun.

Imagine how TERRIBLE a game EVE would be without the constant sense of danger. It'd be like playing Slender, with the bad guy replaced by a unicorn that sings to you every time it gets close.

Botters fly mackinaws and barely interact with the game.

There this thing in the game called a "chat" window. It's how you can "interact with the game" and wouldn't you know with those "evil" miners as well.

Thats too much work. They want to shoot stuff, see tears, have fun. Not running around delivering justice to botters.
I honestly can relate to that.

Many vets have alts in Empire mining away at ice.

It's impossible to tell.

Kill them all.

Without operations like mine it would be impossible for certain Alliances to conduct a respectable war. There are three basic types of arms deal: white, being legal, black, being illegal, and my personal favorite, gray.

I had already posted, in this thread, one of the other reasons for doing it. The mods deleted it in their cleanup. There is never one reason, or even two. You don't pivot even subsets of BLOCs without many.

Looks to me like you all just trying to play "super meta spy master great strategous i have a secret you dont know" out of yourself.

See if you can come up with reasons why our FT won't announce their intentions ahead of time in a public forum. It's really not that hard. Hint: telling people whether there is a plan or not is just as bad, whether the intention is to have a plan or not.

These are kinda market manipulation basics.

There is a difference to my opinion between telling the full/some of the plan and telling there is a secret plan no one knows of.
The latest beeing stupuid and not market manipulative at all.

Not only my opinion i think, but you can keep spreading rumors that there are romurs. Be my guest.

you think that you cant manipulate a market by hinting there might be some rumour that you heard in a random channel that something might be happening?

I can drop subtle hints in a jabber channel and spike a market to hell and back in a day or two. You can do an awful lot with rumor.

Inb4 Eterne needs a new sweeping round. :)

I personally welcome all the interesting content Goons create. Sure it brings some tears, but at least it beats the content of mission running pve.
