Hydra starting +1 Win in Finals

What did you think about it?

Personally I didn't understand the logic behind it, the team from losing bracket (in this case PL) already had to play 4 (?) more matches in last weekend than Hydra and starting with Hydra +1 win in the finals was just a bit too much. Plus if we didn't have that we could have saw one more awesome match :).

Was really interesting to see that only PL and Hydra were the teams that figured out the highest meta setups were buffered cruisers with sentries without logistics. GG.

Also CCP Sundwave thanks for your services. I am pretty sure you like Waffles too just not our alliance name which we are going to change in the near future~

Think of it this way - every other team, including PL, had one chance to lose before getting kicked out of the tourney. That's double elimination. Hydra starting +1 was their "second chance," per say, since they hadn't lost any matches.

They absolutly deserved that 1-0 lead. They didn't lose a single match until the finals. In fact, they BEAT PL in a best of three match the day before. Hell I don't think they even lost a ship until that best of 3 match with PL. Of course when they DID lose a ship they lost some quadtrillionbillionmillionzillion dollar ships but still...............1-0 makes sense if it is double elimination, but you go undefeated.
