Why would a veteran pvp alliance shoot a rattlesnake instead of support assault frigates when logistic ship is down? I cannot be the only one wondering about this.

I guess you missed all the matches where people went for the AF's first and got sig tanked while they lost the match from their larger DPS ships getting obliterated by sentries? Dropping the snakes in that situation would have dropped massive amounts of DPS from the field.

You need to kill an active tank ship while you still have enough DPS to break an active tank

What you see happening is drone control range and the limited drone bay of vexors and navy vexors. When you only have 1 set of sentry and warpins are 100km apart you have to make a lot of difficult choices.
