On my main character who is a director of one the larger mission running corporations, our SRP had ~2.9b isk in it and was hardly being touched, so I decided to make an easy 30% profit and bet the max on PL being eliminated.

History has shown that wasn't the best idea.

Are there any corporations that offer discrete loans?

The British legal definition of theft is "dishonestly appropriating property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it." Therefore this crime is embezzlement. If he could prove he had the intention of returning the money but keeping the profit, he'd just be on fraud, embezzlement and misappropriation of funds charges

I think CCP should bail him out. It's the sensible thing to do.
