why would you bother fulfilling buy orders?

Let's not forget that this is a game and people want to have their version of fun. That may mean not getting full value of their goods (and no babysitting orders) in exchange for getting back to doing what they like to do more quickly, be it PI, mining, pvp, missions, etc.
