Not really EVE related, but it's made by SOE so I'm sure the game will be balanced.... then they'll unnecessarily buff something because players whined.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Graphics and animations like it's done for pre-school children.

I do not play a game for it's graphics if I did I wouldn't play EVE. Yes EVE looks great but let's admit most of the time we are playing with red crosses .

SOE's president, John Smedley, plays Eve. Just putting it out there.

Aesthetics/basic gameplay aside, the tech behind that game is revolutionary for a AAA MMO. The Minecraft element alone will be jawdropping once it gets going.

I wish Eve would put that kind of emergent gameplay in PVE. I was hoping incursions would be dynamic and meaningful like EQN is doing, oh well.

The announced features looks promising. We will see how they can deliver and how many of those are just empty promises. I wish I could like fantasy mmos once again but they are all the same and I'm so effin tired of all.

Everquest was my first on line MMO, back before they added the cat folk, the lizard folk and before they decided the frog folk should be player characters.

It was back before they started up the tutorial that skips the first ten levels of play.

And that's why I stopped playing. There was no longer anybody to team with in places like the great faedark and crunchbone castle and i liked to run low level healers and bards

Looked mildly interesting, but hardly the complete redefinition of MMOs they were touting. The emergent AI idea where NPCs react to general trends could be fun though (and is something CCP should be taking a close look at for Eve).

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

I like the destructibility, the build tools and especially the AI concept.
Finally MMOs walk away more and more from static worlds. Perhaps the next next will be real real good.

The characters... The human wizard made me think Bioshock Infinite first and Disney second.

Then came the Lion guy, which boosted Disney to place one.

So... Thanks OP!

I believe main purpose of this graphics and the game itself is to snatch millions of WoW ex-players who leave "original WoW" in droves (almost 4 millions just during last 6 months). "WoW Next" could be much more suitable title for the game.

As for quality of graphics - it really doesn't matter a lot during first two weeks. But after that I either uninstall the game (Neverwinter, Torchlight, LOTRO, SWTOR) or keep it to return later (Skyrim, APB, Rift, EVE).
