PLEX for remap !!!

A re-map is not free SP nor is it an "I win" button. Personally I think PLEX for remap is a good idea and wonder why it isn't already done already.

I can bet everything I have we'll see these (or similar) features in the game sooner or later. It's not like EVE will be healthy / subscription-based forever - just until decent competitor appear.

It's probably already been said, but any ISK for buying or selling a Remap is equivalent to P2W, although not quite as bad as PLEX for SP, IMO.

I do agree that there should be more remaps. I've had that position for a long time. But niether shorter cool down for Remap or buying selling is gonna happen any time soo, if ever.

As cool as the idea of selling extra remaps is and/or buying them with PLEX and/or paying an extra sub to get a shorter cool down - none of it will come to pass.

Really, I think we need to simply discuss the merits of faster cool down timers so we get more Remaps - no cash involved.

An idea that I like a lot is to have a Remap ticket as a drop - I don't care what loot table - but one available to everyone as a rare drop.

Because paying to ignore game mechanics is a horrible idea in every way imaginable. That's why CCP were loudly and unequivocally shouted down for being 'tards when they suggested this very idea.

you forgot to point out that he's wrong, because remapping lets him train more sp in a given period than otherwise possible if he didn't remap thus what you're essentially buying is in fact SP.

There's a special place in Hell for game studios that charge a subscription and build a micro macro-transaction system on top of it.

I think CCP has learned their lesson:

When you have a game where the single biggest contributor to your success is alt accounts; you want to be very careful when playing with F2P schemes.

Well, yes, but I don't particularly care about SP and I certainly don't consider them “win” (so no P2W there), but I do care about mechanics and keeping those equal. If he wants to not be hassled by the game mechanic that is attributes — which is what PLEX for remap really is all about — then he should ask CCP to remove attributes. Asking them to selectively remove the mechanic only for those who pay to not be bothered by it is downright idiotic.

an easier solution would to just be to remap to a balanced remap so all your skills train at the same speed.

i agree though, paying to ignore a game mechanic is bad because where will it end?
