Separate connection for EVE?

I recently upgraded my internet, which resulted in my router moving to a different room, as it needed to be near a new fibre box connected to the main cable into the house.

So I decided to connect my desktop to the router via TP-Link Powerlinks (the ones that use the mains electrical house cables). The connection is very fast, but drops out a lot. Resulting in DC'ing from EVE. The problem is definitely the PowerLinks, all other devices connected direct to router or wireless work fine.

As a temporary measure I installed a Wireless NIC to my desktop, which works fine but is of course a lot slower. But plenty fast enough for EVE.

I am now wondering, if I can set up EVE to run solely via the Wireless NIC and all my other internet for the Desktop through the cabled PowerLinks?

Thanks
