Multiboxing softwares ruining pvp

Eve is a p2w, f2p game. It's called plex. It's a form of p2w with limitations meaning you can, utilizing f2p, have everything a p2w player can have.......just not as quickly. Can't really fault someone for having more resources/knowledge from taking advantage of such. Be thankful that CCP has crafted the p2w facet of the game in such a way that it doesn't completely ignore competitiveness, which imo is acceptable.

With that out of the way, your argument is moot. That this guy has accounts coming out of his bunghole is not the pivotal issue you make it to be. The fact that the guy can bring more ships to the situation is the real issue. Whether he's multiboxing or has friends means that you, as a lone player, can't do anything to counter him. The only way to combat it is to make friend, get a job that pays more and/or learn more about hardware/software to be able to counter the issue.

Otherwise, get your ass to Mars.....I mean, somewhere else.



You are right in some ways, but:

I'm not a lone player, I have a corp, I have an alliance, but they aren't always there where I am.

Ofc I can organise a whole fleet to take all the alts down, which is pathetic if we are talking about 1 player.

Eve likes to boast that they are not pay to win and for the most part they are correct. Things that can be bought with real cash do not enhance stats. I guess if a person could fund 10 accounts with isk then technically that would not be coming out of pocket.

I would guess (MOST) don’t have the ability to fund all their accounts for long periods… I am sure some do.

I feel the ability to have 10 accounts would not be pay to win per say but the ability to control all at those accounts at once is as close as your going to get.

I'm plaiying EVE for almost 3 years now, for me EVE is about pvp (and for many other players), my priority is pvp, I don't care if someone can make money alone with 20 accs, or 50 accs, or 100 accs, I really don't give a damn.

But CCP, don't give someone a huge advantage by allowing him to control a full fleet of combat ships with a few clicks, because IT IS RUINING THE GAME.

And really, don't tell me to do the same. What if I don't have the hardware for this, or I don't have the money to buy the hardware? Will I be discriminated?

And of course I know, I should take it as it was a gang of players, not one player... But it was one player.


I know you want to kill solo, and small gang pvp, but come on... Should I have to organise a 50 man gang to kill 1 guy???

And I know CCP, you allow multiboxing softwares, because more multiboxers = more accounts = more money for you. This is how most companies think, but hey... I think you should think it twice what worth more...


so you don't have the money for multiple accs or the hardware and don't want to be discriminated because of it. But somehow you see it as your right to discriminate him for buying/having that stuff and making an effort. Somehow you think that you have the right to take his right to play the game the way he wants? wow, entitled much?

It's not an effort... it's software, not player controlled, in a game where palyers should control.

Anyway, i have isk, that's not an issue, hardware is tough, as said.

your hypocrisy is unbelievable, its ok for you to dualbox but somehow its not ok if others tripplebox or are playing 4 chars at the same time. just because YOU are too stupid/poor/dumb to do it yourself. how about noone else should be allowed to fly anything else but shuttles just because YOU wouldnt be able to kill them otherwise

Don't insult me, I'm not here for that.

I say again, the problem is not dual or tripleboxing, the problem is that it's not PLAYER CONTROLLED you "stupid/poor/dumb".


So what do you guys say? Should we rename PVP to PVM(player versus macro)? or PVM (player versus multiboxing software)?

Why isn't metagaming a form of adapting? We don't have tracking titans anymore. Or remote AoE doomsdays either.

its incredible, people in this game see a group of people doing a group activity the way its supposed to be done, and intermediately think its some dude shitting plex.

you were never supposed to run lowsec sites like a carebear, warping off the moment there's a neut in local, you were always supposed to run them with a group of people blapping any idiot that warps in your room or forcing people to look for easier targets.

and if he does decide to multibox the site with 50 caracals and 20 t1 logis, here is a list of things you can do:

- phone someone with bigger balls than yours, who will gladly accept the challenge and will congratulate said multiboxer for creating content, after killing everything he owns.

- warp an AOE jam BS in the room, plus a few dps boats and kill everything.

- alpha one logi from the warp in beacon, then warp off. over, and over again.

- stop flying bling for lowsec exploration like a $#%*@#, and start killing stuff.

im mean, wtf... i can understand people being kinda pissed months ago when multiboxers were making billions a day mining ice AFK. nowdays i can hardly think of a less AFK activity than highsec ice mining with more than ONE account, yet people still *****.
