The funniest part is that most people in this thread are like me and don't have a problem with ISBoxer kiddies doing their thing. You seem to think that starting this discussion (which has been around as long as isboxer) and keeping it going is going to have some effect.

The effect is that CCP sees support for it's current stance on ISBoxer.......

Congrats, you just made it even less likely that CCP ever bands multiboxing software.



My issue comes from I do not mind arguing the semantics of what the program does, it's when people use the "but CCP said it's all right to use it" when that isn't really the nature of the argument in the first place lol.

For isntance, something I read earlier today on TM.com in reference to multi boxing still means you are soloing. If you are considered coloing because you multibox, then it's a bot.

If it's not a bot, you are not soloing while you multibox.

That kind of discussion I can get involved with.

OT: The OP complains about the multiboxer not controling 10 clients, but uses an advanced interface (not available for everybody) to issue commands to 10 different client instances, probably automated in-part and getting a 1-up on others not using that software.

There is no point in comparing that to him also handling 2 clients at the same time, as he does that manualy without aid.


In effect tho, this half-automated blob player is not flexible beyond what he pre-programmed, and given the large number of clients the likelyhood of him manualy kicking your ass while controlling 50 clients is virtualy non-existant. So it takes some thinkning (you know, the thing you only use when forming arguments against valid advice) to find a weak spot and abuse the living **** out of it till he either adapts and you get to rinse and repeat, or he finds another system.

Also, this half automated blob player presents pvp content for the game, keeps accounts subbed and created a reason for there being Merc corps and friends .. and he presents a spontanious goal.


He could just as easily be a whole corp with 20 players all dualboxing .. you'd have the same issue and no supposed argument at all. 'yeah but he isnt' is not a valid argument either .. it just shows you're mad bro.

It would probably be nicer if you had your 4 dominixes (subcap support) on one screen and then a blap dread on the other screen. With the number of dominixes you have on field, it's not necessary to have carriers. But to beat up (supercaps) the dreads will do a good job.

Carriers double both the drone damage output & the forum rage from the opposing fleet. It's not as cost-efficient as Domi's, but since when have we cared about that?

True, but the dominix has those range and tracking bonuses. So good, they had to be nerfed, you gotta abuse that.

This is true. It's also easier to multibox 20 dominix than it is to multibox 4 carriers.
