Steam account doesnt connect

my friend gifted to me Eve started pack i am unable to use it. Everytime i try yo log in to eve with my steam acount, either the launcher or the webpage https://secure.eveonline.com I am unable to do so. When login in through the webi get this error "Please use EVE username / password" http://prntscr.com/1iweg4

I am kinda annoyed because i payed for this game and i already lost like 5 in game days. Could i get refund or somthing ?

Have you tried logging in through steam, from your links it looks like you haven't if that doesn't work it looks like your issue is probably with steam. I haven't done it through steam for a few years but from what I have heard is when you sign up for an eve account through steam it is different from a normal account sign in from the eveonline.com launcher.

One friend also got gifted eve and he cant use it. He cant log in through steam in account managment or put an accoun on the launcher. Please help
