I really try not to think of it.

But the stations in this game are too small in comparison to the ships that are coming out of them.

Why?

They are bigger on the inside as they use dimensional shrinkage technology.

Is that a joke or the actual lore reason?

Eve is full of planck containers, that are bigger on the inside than the outside, the stations are the same. That's why you cant put one cargo container inside another if assembled.

Medium Secure Container Capacity 390m3, volume 325m3 assembled, 33m3 packaged. I haven't read anything specific saying that this applies to stations so if it's anything it's only extrapolated lore because the containers do exist.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

I agree Stations should be scaled correctly... They need to be much larger. CCP fix this pls looks crappy.

"Small" is a relative term. Those big caldari stations (like Jita 4-4) are hundreds of cubic kilometres in volume.

No.

Do, or do not. There is no try.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

They only look small because the camera has a focus on your ship. Try zooming out.

For what it is worth, doubling the diameter will cause the surface to increase four times and the textures will then need to be scaled up and look ugly or require a higher resolution, which costs more texture memory.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Just imagine how huge Jita 4-4 would be considering how much ships, modules and other crap is in it Big smile

Aaaaaactually, according to lore, the stations are too big imo. For example, if you read up on the development of the Titans (like all the cool kids do), then the lore states that building the first titans (ships probably on the same scale as today's titans @ approx 15 km in length) put so much strain on the resources of the empires that they nearly depleted their resources in doing so (even the mighty Amarr empire). So if this is true, then how can there be so many massive stations per system? Scale is a problem for Lore, but if you are developing a game like EVE, scale and accurate perception has to make way for game mechanics.

Because there mostly hollow for storage of ships and goods.

But if its too much work for ccp maybe make the ships smaller might be easier? XD

I'll live well with ether or changes.. .P

I agree, the size is a bit silly.

If they tried to fix another issue (docking radius) at the same time it could be pretty cool.

Imagine:

-3x to 4x increase in station size

-docking radius is a static sized sphere or block around the area where you get "spit out" on undock

Maybe even tag the docking radius with visual beacons. It could be cool and would change the nature of on-station combat.
