Punisher.
I love this thing. I'll take it into medium plexes against destroyers it works so good! 200 plate +AAR is baws. (then add in some legion boosts and it's almost silly. I like the web+no scram idea. I did that with the coercer back in the day, this oughta work just as well!

A few people are catching on but the Tormentor is generally thought of as crap but can in fact be really really solid as a brawler. 180DPS with a silly good brick tank for a frigate with a 400 plate. Speed is a serious issue though

My Amarr alt used to rock Punisher with no scram and a small cap booster instead-neut in the utility. No plate just dcu, anm, heatsink and a sar in the lows. This was b4 tiericide. Worked well. Lack of plate made up for speed issues somewhat. Rigs were metastasis and dps. Iirc. Confirming many dont realise they're not scrammed.

I use the warriors over hobs so that you can place more dps on fast ships like condors and the like that can kite you, the breacher has a fast and very agile hull but with the rockets your limited to close range enagements.


Why have the Core Defense Field Extender rigs if you're using an Ancillary Shield Booster?

Alpha BAD. Buffer GOOD.

Edit: Although, granted, 10% won't make a ton of difference. Could use a launcher rig in one of those slots.

I am going to go out on a limb and stop this Punisher and Riftaa and Comet fanboi club right in its tracks with the Vigil.

Use this fit here and go hunt Condors and Hookbills.

You can also set it up the EM resists and go hunt Slicers and Executioners.

I don't recommend Merlins but it does work from time to time if they are blaster-AB-web fit and you scram-kite them.

The best feature of a Vigil is its engagability; Slicers and Condors will engage you instantly and not even realise you can keel-haul them without heating your MWD.

It is good against solo turret ships that for some reason think they can kill a crucifier.

Otherwise its a bit meh.

scram kite executioner, scram kite tormentor. they get me a lot of fights within 5 minuts of undocking , some people might runn from the tormentor, everyone will engage executioner Pirate

+1 for the mention of the Vigil. People seem to think it's only use is TP fleet support. I think I will try that fit some time, it looks like a fun setup to screw around in FW space.

Tormentor is great. SAR, wed scram and ab, pulse lazors and some drugs. Makes it a tad beastly.

Blaster merlin with med ASB. Can tank most frigs in as long as it takes to blap them

My favorite is the Kestrel, but maybe that's just because I have a fetish for missiles. Its like babies first hookbill. My favorite fit is a medium shield extender with light missiles and a microwarpdrive. It's vastly underestimated and tends to surprise even the occasional dessy that pops on grid.
