Exactly. Why spend money on stuff you can't resell, possibly even for more isk than you paid for it, when you no longer need/want it because it disappeared when you used it?

Yes, it is completely understandable that people would spend large amounts of money to get high performance non-expendable items and yet still forgo the usage of expendables. It's one of the reasons for using drone boats for mission running after all.

Replace one SPR2 for a PDS2 or CNPDS if you want a bit more buffer on both, and a bit better cap recharge and therefore less reliance on the vampires working at 100% capacity, at the cost of a weaker tank.
