Is that the guy who posts those utterly boring stuff on en24 or themittani ? If not then i have no idea who your talking about , if it is well then can only ''nod in agreement'' with your post.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

i don't know; usually it's quite entertaining to read and anticipate which of his follies he's gonna be ripped for in the comment section. i especially enjoyed the one where he tried to tell mission runners how to run missions....

I should buy an Ishtar.

I have made my billions without any idea about economics. Buy low sell high is the main law.

The secret, or a secret anyway, is to simply know everything about everything in the game. It's very easy to predict how markets will move then. Blink

Owww screw that , i know nothing about everything and i managed fine . Sure i ain't a trillionaire but also screw that it pays for more then the bills so fine enough.

Trade is not as hard as people make it out to be , at least not the normal trade wich can still net you a good sum of isk , biggest problem is that it does take dedication at the start.
Basically it is utterly boring after a week ... and then when you stick to it it becomes interesting and fun again.Well up until a certain point where you have more then you need where it becomes poinless again and you wonder why the hell your updating your orders one day and just cancel all the orders Blink .

Edit:Offcourse usually the blood flows where it can so you'll find yourself picking up the trade business every now and then. Then after a month or 3 you find out again what the reason was you gave it up in the first place.Quit the trade and after a month or 6 repeat the same process.

I smiled so hard i had to reply, it is the same with me and as i found a semi cure to it, the get bored by updating orders thingie, i'm going to tell you. Maybe it will work for you too or you do it already.

You all have heard about market manipulations and i never used them that much in the past but recently i thought screw it lets try it on another level and see what happens. I don't do the usual weekend manips on high volume items, i just browse the faction, cosmos, deadspace market and if i like what i see i buy it out on all main tradehubs and set new sell orders at 100% over my median buy out price.
Do that with 10 or 20 items wait for the buy order to rise and dump it back at profit, rinse and repeat after 3months. I don't do a lot research on the item just look at the history and let my gut decide spares a lot of time and the failure rate is pretty low. Lower as i actually thought it would be and the profit is amazing and can beat any losses by far. And you will have losses but at the end it seems it is all about statistic, the more items you manipulate the higher the chances you hit gold more often than you fail.

The most important thing, i do not have to spend time to watch over my orders. I just check in every week once or twice and see how much profit i would make by filling up the buy orders.

There are a lot of ways to make isk. Some require a lot of knowledge, some do not.

Simple trading doesn't, becaue the EVE mechanics make that kind of trading quite regimented, you can't do a lot wrong because the game forces you to do simple things.

CCP gave us alts, corps, alliances, contracts, forums, private convos, chat channels and API feeds with which we can make trading as complex as we want. Once you venture away from straight station trading, things get a bit more interesting.
