Well your camera positioning just sucks. Try switching cameras where the action is. for example in RvB vs The intiative when oneiroses are getting tackled and killed is a good moment to switch on it.

The whole match i was seeing a Vindi tanking 3 Hyperions.

To be honest I'd much rather see the tactical view being the default view (or at the very least, camera shots from much further out).

Use the little box in the right-hand corner to show off ship models.

By all means, cut to the close-up when a fancy ship explodes (wouldn't want CCP to miss out on the thousands of subscriptions they'll get from 'OMG GRAFFIKS' P).

But generally I want to be able to judge who is about to get tackled, who is safe, who has just broken a scram and got off an MWD cycle etc. Filling 50% of the main screen with a Scorpion hull is unfortunately rather useless.

Edit: Don't want to be too negative. Definitely better coverage than previous years (player commentators generally v. good) but always room for improvement.

Exactly. More tactical overview also!

Tbh, i think CCP should supply 4 feeds, one from each corner of a figurative square placed outside the circle. That way people could choose what they see and when they want to see it.

I know that would probably require a lot of work and strain on already full internet lines, so maybe you could provide these feeds after the battle.

Not empty quoting.

Very rarely do I look at the upper half of the screen after the match has started. And yes, the tactical view could be a bit bigger.

A second, simultaneous stream of the tactical map sans commentary with tags on would be cool.

So for more experienced PVP players (who likely have 2 monitors or more) could watch them both at the same time and get a better grasp of whats happening while still seeing the pretty ships and effects.
