So i made sell order for implants a couple mil less than lowest sell order. By default i put it on the market for 3 mos. They weremt selling and i just checked the prices and it seema i underestimated how quickly exploration implant prices are dropping. I went to modify the sell order. One implant was set for 150mil and i tried changing to 105mil. But then 38mil in fees? Thats quite excessive. 38 of 105mil basically 38% fee.

What game mechanic am i dealing with here? Is it a penalty because i originally set the sell order for 3 mos?

You sure you weren't adding a 0 without removing a later one?

Fees don't depend on order duration.

To undercut you pay an additional broker fee of 100isk. To overcut, you pay 100isk plus the percent-based fees on the additional amount.
