No Combat effects since odyssey

The problem I have been having has been going on since the launch of Odyssey, I have not been able to see any weapon effects. This includes any turret effects, missiles, the actual effect of a weapon hitting a ship, and also drone weapon effects. This is about as much as I can describe, I have tried changing the graphics setting in game to no avail, I have tried clearing my cache and CTRL+ALT+****+T docking and undocking. On top of that, when trying to preview what a turret in the little pop-up window, it just loads for infinity.

I've also filed a petition, got told to file a bug report, and have yet to receive any response for about 13 days now Question

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please let me know, eve is just so boring now when ships look like they take damage for no reason.
