Greetings, fellow pilots!

Over the past five years, I've made a fairly comfortable living in sports and games. I've seen fortunes won and lost, and lately I have been wanting to share the excitement with more of my peers. After some lengthy discussions with my associates, I am pleased to announce that I have opened the New Eden Colosseum for competitors and spectators to share my love of a good game.

The New Eden Colosseum is an arena located at Dodixie IX - Moon 9 - Nugoeihuvi Development Studio. Relax in comfort around the arena floor and allow our unobtrusive staff to cater to your needs as you enjoy live poker tournaments or holoprojected space duels.

Become a card shark and win fortune and glory at the poker tables. Become a duelist and let us promote your fights. You can be the center of attention, or you can spectate and cheer for your favorite competitor.

All events are open to wagers. Gambling services are provided with permission and in partnership with EVE Online Hold'Em and EOH Brawl.

Our first event will be a low stakes, single table poker tournament for up to 10 participants:

Channel: New Eden Colosseum
Date: Wednesday, July 31
Time: 22:00 EVE
Buy-in: 28 million ISK
Maximum players: 10

Buy-ins open at 21:30 EVE (30 minutes prior to event start). Side bets will be accepted prior to tournament start. Payouts will be based on the total number of participants.

Two brave souls, Leopold Caine and Laria Raven, joined tonight's tournament. To add a third player, I bought into the game at the last minute myself. In the end, I won the game. As I hadn't intended to play, and I'm not running the venue as a card shark, I returned 25 million ISK to Mr. Caine and Ms. Raven (their buy-ins minus rake).

A lovely venue; I wish to extend my thanks to Mr. Ellis for the invitation. The game itself was very interesting and fast paced, kudos to Mr. Ellis for winning in the end. ( I had warned you I'm not much of a gambler. )

I hope there will be some similar events organized soon, this time hopefully with a larger attendance. Do keep me notified, Mr. Ellis, I'd be quite interested to participate.

Drop by the New Eden Colosseum to play or spectate. Buy-ins will open 1 hour prior to event start. Number of winners and payout amounts are based on total number of players. A full table has a pot of 250 million ISK, split between the top 3 finishers at 125 / 75 / 50 million ISK.
