Okay. So pretty much the loan is for a Tengu Char and buying the tengu and fitting it.

Edit: Collateral I have is a 1 bil fitted CNR that is located in Osmon, and ships and rat loot in G-ME2K which I LIKE IT valued at 650m.

With my current missioning character that flys a CNR that only does 530 dps I was able to make 1 bil within a week. So I can make back the money that you loan me.

Edit: The loan with I LIKE IT is now finished and payed: http://goo.gl/JopPor

The links are shortened cause I wasn't able to put direct forum links for whatever reason

Will nobody consider this?

Why don't you keep making 1b a week while training tengu skills on the main?

The reason I say this is because in the current scenario loans are difficult to get, especially if you do not have sufficient collateral. If you've got collateral, you can get a loan at a low interest rate like 2-4%.

imho it is fun training up for a ship. My first tengu, kept getting better and better as I skilled up, and I fell in love with the ship. This sort of experience is not possible when you buy a character.

Also to consider: tengu has been nerfed to oblivion for pve, imho. The heavy missile nerf hit tengu bad, and I've given up doing missions, as they are no longer fun. Tengu used to be king, and now it's not even good enough to sweep the streets it used to own.

Any colour you like.

Then is there a better ship that I could by a char with good skills for cheaper than the 9 bil tengu pilot i found? Cause I do like 550 dps currently in my CNR, and I know that I can do a lot better but I need skills.

1) Taking a 1B loan to buy a CNR, then in the middle of that loan using that CNR as a collateral for a much larger uncollateralized loan is not the best idea in the world .No CNR=no L4's and it's clear to me after our chat last night that you're no trader i.e there goes your revenue.

2) What If someone gives you that money and lets you keep the tengu and you loose it in a mission/gank/accident etc? do you have a backup plan?

3) You're already trying to get a 6 bil loan with your alt. Asking for yet ANOTHER loan looks really bad:

And may I add that there is a large chance of that happening at Osmon, where you (OP) are currently operating. They tried to gank my (10b) Golem there, after which I try and avoid the place in pimped up ships.

Any colour you like.

They 1B loan is going to be payed off as soon as I LIKE IT logs on and sees the forum post. I have the 1 bil isk to send him.

I will be buying a character and a tengu with the loan. I will be missioning on the new character to make the isk

The tengu I buy will not be worth 10b. It will be 1 bil tops. My 1 bil CNR has not been attempted to be ganked once

tbh saying "nobody tried to gank my cnr yet=my tengu is safe" doesn't make me feel very comfortable
The worst case scenario is you loose that tengu, the CNR is the collateral=no revenue . Lender can then either risk and give you that CNR back to make isk or cut his losses and eat 5B loss.

Im just saying what experience I have had so far. I'm always ready to warp away at a moments notice if needed. The tengu will be faster than my CNR so escape will be slightly easier

CNR is like a 1998 BMW. It's good and all but not going to attract a lot of ill intentioned attention.

A decently fitted tengu on the other side...

Plus you'll notice how Tengu tank is not so impossible to crack for a ganker.

Well if you don't want to loan, that is ok. For what I want, there isn't any sort of change to the loan that can be done other than me raising the amount of interest that I will pay.

You are saying all these nice, colorful words about raising interest etc. etc.. However you did not provide me with enough assurance that you will do what you say you will and it wont be a waste of my money. Okoolus rimmer asked legitimate questions (as any investor would) and you failed to provide coherent answers. Samroski made a good point as well

My friendly advice to you is, think of how you can actually provide this kind of assurance. Have a plan/collateral. And investors will listen.

Well that is all I have for collateral. But if worst came, I have a salvaging character that can make me 50m an hour. And I found a different cheaper character for 3 bil so now I can take a 4 bil loan. Yes I know my amounts keep changing but that is because I keep finding better stuff as it appears

Assuming your collateral is worth 1.1B (i'd need to verify), I may be willing to fill 1B of your loan for an interest of 2% per week (round to 8% per month, 80mil).

That way you could offer 14% on the remaining 2B but not pay out any more interest. My offer would only stand if another party is willing to fill the un-collateralised 2B @ 14%.

Interest would be due on the calendar day that the loan commenced, and I would assume a default if no interest payment was made within 3 days of the date due. Early payments welcome.

Lol , now that one gave me a DUH and a smile at the same time .

The problem ain't his collateralised portion he can get that from any guy around the corner and for less then 2% a week too, it's the part you try to avoide wich is the only problem. Lol

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.
