Ok. now that some people have replied, I can go ahead and post my own guilty pleasure.

When I gank, typically right when I am rolling on somebody, I play T-Rex's "Bang a Gong". My Rifter even used to be named "The Hydra".

For some reason that song just gets the blood pumping when I charge in on somebody.

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.

The Gummy Bears theme song.
In Japanese.

Oh god my ears!

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

No. Why aren't you listening to your FC?

My FC gives orders to the tune of Gangnam Style, if that helps at all.

Op, op, op, open cyno now!

And, to answer El Quirko. Volume control? It's not like I can't discern commands while listening to music.

I guess I'll be the odd one that actually listens to the few sounds there are in EVE. It's very "2001: A Space Odyssey"-esque.

To keep the ball rolling, whenever I am in a wormhole, or somewhere else decidedly not safe (hacking a can in PL nullsec takes waaay too damn long), I listen to this.

It's uber creepy vibe keeps me on my toes, watching D-scan.

Well, since the jukebox was removed, not much frankly. I've usually just got the music turned off.

I did put together a playlist once with bits from various movie soundtracks (The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, all episodes of Star Wars, Van Helsing, Gettysburg, etc.), but it's not often that I even bother to alt-tab to start it up.

Recently, I have found the haunting melody of Hiru no Tsuki (Melfina's Song from Outlaw Star) feels strangely appropriate while watching ships drift through space through exploding weapon impacts - I'm not sure if it's the contrast, or if its just that even in the middle of a fight, the vastness of space holds a certain serenity and calm. Either way, sometimes I'll just put that song on repeat for a half hour or more.

For anyone interested, here is an instrumental version (with very EVE-like visuals) and a fan-made English version I'm fond of.

Anything from classical to whatever else. But mostly instrumental stuff, since I quickly tire of anything with vocals. I think it's because a lot of lyrics start sounding really dumb if I hear them too many times. (Sometimes once is too many)
