While I can understand your effort to garner support at the grassroots level. After reading the correspondence, it clearly states what your recourse is.

Pleas file a petition to try and resolve the issue.

does the op own the rights to that trademarked name?

if he doesn't, then who cares what the EULA says, if the owner of the trade mark wants to be a complete asshat about it and notify CCP of a trademark infringement then you are done.

you best course of action would be to contact the owner of the copyright, because there's a 90% chance that the claim wasn't directly made by them, it was probably one of those ****** e-lawfirms that look to make a quick buck offering "copyright protection services" that do nothing but carpet bomb the intertubes with DMCAs, regardless of any fair use.

just contact the owner of the copyright, most likely a production corp, and tell them that you are not profiting off it, you are not giving it a bad name and you are just a group of fans of the series that made some in-game "guild" with the name to make the nerds happy.
