pretty good actually. don't think anyone else has come up with a "is this a quest?" troll yet. (except for that browser game maybe, not sure if there was a quest in it)

Signed up not too long ago and I'm loving this game so far. Just one question though - I've been walking around the station exploring what I can do, and I found this door that says something about station atmosphere needing decontamination for capsuleers. How long do I have to wait? Do I have to do anything to decontaminate it (i.e a quest or somethng)?

I'm sorry, that was my fault. I had to use the restroom and the door in the hallway woulnd't close all the way and I had Thai food last night.

You should be clear to leave your quarters in 35 to 45 minutes.

People just didn't want microtransaction bullshit ruining their favorite game.

Did the Micro transactions mean just shirts and nex things. Or did they actually want to introduce things like buying a battleship for 50 cents, special bullets for 1 dollar a crate etc..

A quest that unlocks the Door of a Thousand Mysteries.

What secrets lie behind the Door of a Thousand Mysteries? You, brave adventurer, must seek the key to the door! You will travel far, and long. You will face many hardships. There will be blood. Through the Mystic Eye unto the Polaris System you must cross, and in the Station Where None Shall Tread, you must battle Those Who Shall Not Be Named to gain access to the key. Then you must travel back to the station from which you came, and recite the ancient incantation (learned from another quest) and use the key to unlock the Door of a Thousand Mysteries.

Do you accept this quest? Are you brave enough to travel where none have tread? Are you strong enough to defeat Those Who Shall Not Be Named?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I can only think of this as good thing. I can't say that WiS is a bad direction, but I do suspect it could become a dangerous distraction from the core game. Dangerous distractions should be approached like they might be rabid weasels.
I'm not sure WIS is good or bad "by nature", but their implementation was really bad.
And, following that of course, the WIS/Incarna deal has been synonymous with MicroTransactions and a failed game.
Most EVE players who read about / experienced the leadup to and aftermatch of Summer of Rage have become almost allergic to WIS. Whether that is reasonable or not... In the end I think it's justified to a point, not to the knee-jerk reaction.

CCP said that Fearless was made to discuss MT, not a businessplan and not representative of the companys opinion not the individual authors opinion, and that there never had been plans for "gold ammo" or the like.

You already declined a 'quest' that would take you into lowsec 30 minutes ago. If you decline this 'quest' you will lose standing with the 'agent'. Are you sure you want to decline?

I think the quest for "walking in stations" functionality is called "Star Citizen pre-order". No hope for CCP to do anything interesting in this decade.

It will never happen. CCP lost most of their money with the failure of Dust, and EVE continues to be very lightly developed. Most of us don't mind, amazing game as it is, and there are plenty of avatar games for those who who need pixel dolls for immersion.

I'm clinching my a-hole now, thanks for the heads up

No need to, you can just reclone everytime You feel you have to: fart, take dump, pee, eat, sleep...

Or when hungover, love sick, cranky or just plain bored. It's a fun pasttime, sometimes I set my clones up so I wake up in the new clone just in time to see myself die... You can use your imagination with that one... Also, I usually freeze my (intact) old clones stiff so I can play dress up and use them as mannequins, gives you a way better perception on how you look to others than that plain old mirror.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

thats the exact question that caused so much rage - mega threadnaughts of ppl asking the exact same question (copy/pasted) in massive red lettering over and over for thousands of posts because CCP refused to answer the questions which made everyone angry because they wouldnt give an answer and angry because the silence implied that they were in fact planning to do just that.

wasnt until a very large number of ppl started unsubbing and the jita riots etc that they finally pulled their head out of the sand and promised it would just stay with clothing/non gameplay items

it's not like the eve players didn't warned, especially when they made it ps3 exclusive.

being on PC, it would have had a little chance, ps3 exclusive meant it was doomed before beta.

like everything else, CCP never listen......

People still consistently forget that getting the development money from Sony made it manditory to be PS3-exclusive. At least until Sony got it its investment back.
