I think the lack of good stuff in the nex is a direct result of ppl going MT OMG P2W RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE as soon as it came out.

On a related note, however, has anyone noticed all the different things that have been showing up as rewards for the invite a buddy program? 3 month neural boosts that enhance PG or Cap, rare ships, etc. Is it me or do these things seem like they were originally intended for the NeX (as we once feared) and now they are finding another use for what they already built?

I have no evidence of this of course.

But, I really don't see the appeal of neural boosts enhancing PG & cap for characters that are more or less useless for the next 6mos to begin with. IDK. It's been so long since I trained a new character I might be slightly out of touch.

Whether these were intended for the NeX, IDK. I noticed they showed the (I forget the name) Jovian shuttle in one of the promotions. That was a free gift to the players a few years back. So, no?

CCP could recover the NeX IF they repriced everything to MICROtransaction levels AND released stuff people want to buy. This gestapo stuff is not fun. People want to have fun with this stuff. So, give the NeX some weird, wacky fashion as well as real fashion.
